What is offered and what it costs

Connect Direct Hub is a subscription property record-keeping and communication service for landlords, tenants, agencies and their authorised users.

Landlord subscription pricing and the separately charged tenant screening fee are shown on the pricing section of the site before you pay. Prices are in South African Rand and include VAT where VAT is applicable.

Payment is processed by our payment provider. We do not store your card details.

Electronic agreements and records

By creating an account and ticking the consent boxes you conclude an electronic agreement. Data messages, acceptances and acknowledgements recorded in the app are valid and admissible in terms of ECTA.

The version of the terms you accepted, together with the date and time, is stored with your account and is available to you on request.

Cooling-off and cancellation

Where section 44 of ECTA applies to an electronic transaction with a consumer, you may cancel within 7 days of the transaction without reason or penalty, and a refund of amounts paid will be made as required by ECTA, less the cost of any service already supplied.

Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time from your billing screen or by contacting support. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not automatically reverse a period already used.

Security and complaints

Traffic to the site is encrypted, access is controlled by account role, and stored documents and photographs are access-controlled.

Complaints may be sent using the Complaints form in the app. Consumers may also approach the relevant statutory body or an alternative dispute resolution forum.
