Version 1.0 (2026-09)
This notice summarises how the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 (CPA), applies to your use of Connect Direct Hub. It does not limit any right you have in law.
Our terms are written in plain language. Nothing in them is intended to waive a right you have under the CPA, and any term that would do so does not apply to the extent the CPA prohibits it.
You are entitled to a service performed with reasonable care and skill. If the service is materially defective you may ask us to remedy it or refund you as the CPA requires.
Connect Direct Hub is a record-keeping and communication tool. It does not provide legal, financial, valuation, engineering, structural or statutory inspection services, and figures captured by users are their responsibility.
A monthly subscription may be cancelled at any time. Where a fixed-term agreement applies, you may cancel on 20 business days' notice, subject to a reasonable cancellation penalty as allowed by the CPA.
You will be told before a subscription renews and the amount that will be charged.
Optional marketing consent is never pre-ticked and can be withdrawn at any time from your settings or by contacting us. You may also register a pre-emptive block against direct marketing.
Where our terms limit liability, exclude a warranty or ask you to assume a risk, this notice draws your attention to that fact as required by section 49 of the CPA. Those clauses do not apply to gross negligence or anything the CPA does not allow to be limited.
Use the Complaints form in the app first so we can resolve the matter. You may also approach the National Consumer Commission, a consumer court, an accredited ombud or an alternative dispute resolution agent.
